ABOUT US

North Benton Ambulance is a private, 501 (c) (3), not-for-profit organization established in 1971. NBA is a 9-1-1 transporting ambulance serving a large portion of Benton County, a portion of Buchanan Co, and surrounding towns & communities.

North Benton Ambulance also provides Interfacility Transport services from Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, Iowa.

NBA responds to approximately 1000 calls for service per year.

North Benton Ambulance is active in the community staffing many events including the IMCA Sunday Night Races,

BOOMTOWN, Party in the Park 5K/10K, and other special events throughout the year.

North Benton Ambulance is comprised of a Board of Directors, and a Full-time Service Director. NBA has evolved over the years and is currently a full-time career service employing Full-time, Part-time, and PRN EMS professionals. North Benton Ambulance staffs 1 full-time ambulance 24/7, 365 days a year. On occasion, our 2nd unit ambulance is put into service when the demands for responses are needed.
